Recorded in October / November, 2006, the "Worldfall" mini LP was the last "living room recording" for Nachtmystium before officially signing to Century Media in early 2007.

This MLP had been recorded, originally, to be released as a split CD / LP with Leviathan on Southern Lord Recordings, but that release was cancelled due to complications from Leviathan's then-label (the notoriously awful) Moribund Records, whom had tried to take legal action against both Jef Whitehead and Blake Judd on a couple different occasions during these years.

Finally released in May, 2008, just a few months before our biggest ever release, the "Assassins: Black Meddle Pt. 1" LP was to be released, this little 5 track MLP (consisting of two new original tracks, a re-recording from the 2nd Nachtmystium LP, 2003's 'Demise', and then cover tracks from stoner doom desert legends, Goatsnake, and neofolk right wing weirdos, Death In June) went a little under the radar due to the big push it's big brother (Assassins) would be receiving just four months later.

In time, however, this release became a deep cut favorite for the most ardent Nachtmystium supporters. The title track, "Worldfall", is regularly referenced by fans we encounter to this day.

CD released by Century Media Records, 2008. LP edition (colored and black vinyl) released by Mexican Summer Records, 2008 in an edition of 1,000 numbered LPs in thick, tip-on jackets. Picture LP (with "Eulogy IV" MLP 2004 on the B side!) released by Century Media Records, 2009.
